Q. Do you issue
printed catalogs?
A. We regret that we do not issue a printed
catalog. Our inventory is so extensive and changes so often
that it would not be economical to print a catalog. What we
offer can be found on our website (www.photobooksonline.com)
and ebay. On ebay, we offer original instruction manuals,
repair manuals, photographic literature, camera books,
monographs and technical photo books as well as used camera
equipment. Please visit (neatphoto) for our auctions and
(photobooksonline) our ebay store.
Q. Why don't
you offer a shopping cart service?
A.
We don't
use a shopping cart service because many people are unable
to distinquish what they need. They might order first and
then ask a question afterwards creating lots of extra work.
That is not to say we won't have one in the future but we
need to put alot of time and study into it.
Q. Is
photocopying or Xeroxing used in the production of your
manuals? Or do you use scanning and laster
printing?
A. We use state-of-the-art Canon Image Runner
black & white printers which scan the image and produce
black & white laser copies. This is not your typical
self-serve Xerox copier you find at an office supply store.
Each page is corrected for density, printed double-sided on
20 lb. white stock, folded and stapled down the center. View

reprints.
Q. What is an
instruction manual reprint?
A. An
original manual is what you get from the factory if you
bought the camera new in a box. A reprint is a high-quality
reproduction of the factory original. Since production on
many cameras have been discontinued, acquiring duplicate
factory originals becomes difficult. That is why we offer
reprinted instruction manuals.
Q. What is the
difference between an instruction manual and a repair
manual?
A. Instruction manuals show the user "how to
operate the camera" and take pictures with the camera.
Repair manuals show the repairman "how to take apart",clean,
lubricate and fix the cameras or shutters.
Q. Are the
instruction manual reprints you list in their original
colors?
A. The cost of reprinting in color is too
high to maintain our low prices. We take great pains to
ensure that all text, photographs and graphics, no matter
what the original color, are totally readable. Each page is
analyzed and adjusted for density and contrast.
Q. Do you offer
your manuals in pdf format?
A.
We do not offer our manuals
via CD, PDF files (electronic downloads) email or
fax.
